In this portrait, my aim was to create a new composition that challenged my previous way of setting up my  portrait compositions. Click here to see the original photos… I wanted to push the space that surrounded the animals and the angles to create a new and dynamic point of view.  I loved the personalities of these two animals.  They are obviously best friends, in spite of their sizes.  I loved the placement of Olivia, the smaller dog, making her larger than life.  Her good friend, Ellie, is attentively looking over her shoulder.   This is a good example of role reversal regardless of what we assume.
