Pet Portrait, “King in Field” was painted as a lasting tribute to a dog that was more than a canine companion. King was closer to his master than most people are to each other. As a roommate, he loved his owner dearly. The intellegence of his dog was apparent in his every breath. His loyalty was beyond compare. He is dearly missed each and everyday.
